Old River Gold Placer Exploration And Feasibility Study

Project Description:
American Geological Services, Inc. conducted a gold placer exploration and mining feasibility study. This work included geologic mapping, sampling and analysis, ore reserve calculations, ore processing evaluation, and financial evaluation. Bulk cubic yard samples were collected using an excavator from numerous grid site locations on the property. The bulk samples were processed with a small placer plant. Concentrate from each sample was dried and the magnetic and non-magnetic fractions separated and weighed. The non-magnetic concentrate was then amalgamated with mercury and the mercury dissolved with nitric. The gold was annealed and weighed. Ore reserves were calculated on the recovered grades.
