GORE™ Module Surveys

Initial Site Characterization delineates extent of VOC/SVOC subsurface impact. Benefit: Reduces overall project costs while actually increasing sample density.

Evaluation of Site Risks identifies the extent/magnitude of impact from the source area to potential human or ecological receptors and identifies vapor and/or ground water migration pathways. Benefit: Reduces investigation costs by providing a single tool for evaluation of both vapor and ground water pathways.

Natural Attenuation processes monitored and target daughter compounds identified. Benefit: High sample density at low cost speeds regulatory acceptance as a site remedy.

Module installationRemedial Design optimizes placement of remediation systems by increasing sampling density where existing data is limited, access is difficult, or significant site homogeneities exist. Benefit: Accurate system design speed the process and reduces project life cycle investment.

Monitoring Active Remediation tracks the effectiveness of remediation over time by sampling in the vadose zone or directly in the saturated zone. Benefit: Reduces O & M costs while increasing the amount of information available for problem solving/decision-making.

Ground Water Quality Screening provides routine monitoring of wells during remediation or for sentinel well monitoring. Benefit: Eliminates waste disposal costs and significantly reduces field costs associated with purging and sampling.
